RaulI was using 4.1 from the factory repository during OpenSuse 11.0, and at the beginning everything was kind of Ok, but as time passed it was getting more features but it was also becoming more unstable. At the end I had all the features of 11.1, but none of the stability, so at the end I just upgraded to 11.1 and sticked to 4.1.

So far it is working quite well, and plasma is behaving correctly with none of the problems that you describe. That you are getting so many updates makes me think that probably the are updating 4.2 with something else, maybe they are trying to backport some features from 4.3 and trying to integrate the Network Manager Plasmoid.

So this is kind of an "in the middle" time, 4.1 is not polished enough, but distros still haven't released a stable version with 4.2, so it's a though call about what to choose. Is there any feature that you want from 4.2 that didn't get backported to 11.1? maybe you can just use that
