Because what I really want to know is, "who is the evil bean counter at Microsoft who decides which windows features should be disabled in windows 7 "starter" so that you if you want an actual normal version of Windows, you have to upgrade?

Commercial software is just this giant con of never-ending "upgrades" where you never have any idea what you actually have to purchase in order to get the functionality you are looking for.

(And for the most part, you will discover that it doesn't really exist, or at least not at a price you would be willing to pay ...)
