So, now I read Mandriva is forking as the result of a shake up and sell-off at it's parent corp.  Well, this is how Linux has always been.  I used Mandrake but ran into some problems, which is why I started using SuSE, and so I've never used Mandriva.  But, let's see, in the same week I read reports of Novell selling, issues with Cannonical's licensing agreement and forking at Mandriva.
