opensuse 11.2 kde 4.3 on usb flash drive
By basd on Apr 4, 2010 | In kde4, linux, opensuse
This is working pretty well I've mentioned before that I had better luck with 4.3 than with 4.4. I was writing this post and intending to say that I hadn't experienced any problems, when the keyboard locked up and I had to power-off and reboot. Oh, well.
Other than that, nothing bad has occurred yet. The KDE wireless manager is working pretty well. Hardware has been identified and handle properly on both computers I have started up from the USB drive.
Some of my "regular complaints" are not yet a factor, as I haven't customized the desktop very much. But, so far everything is working "as advertised" as far as I can tell...
