ntp restart

NTP time syncing is not working correctly in my opensuse 11.1 beta 5 install. I was trying to reduce the overall idle temperature, so perhaps I turned off some other service that ntp is dependent on -- although, it works fine if I invoke it manually.
Anyway, here's a command that works at an alt-F2 command prompt:
kdesu service ntp restart
(Assuming that you set up an ntp time server as I mentioned in a prior post.)

Later update: Problem solved by using the "old" method of setting up the network info in Yast. This requires deactivating the network manager, but I think it can be reactivated once the system is running. The problem was that my network was not up and running prior to ntp, so it was not retrieving the time.
