it's google's fault

This blog keeps getting spammed constantly by bots and I couldn't figure out why.
...
Then I realized (as the result of a spam that offered to sell me such a service in order to get me a higher position in google searches) that the reason is this: one of Google's algorithms adds positioning based on the number of links back to a particular site. So, if you can post a spam link in massive numbers of blogs, it will fool Google into thinking the link-back website is really, really important.
If Google would only check for this sort of nonsense, it would cease to be effective and my blog would quit being spammed. (Of course, I have my blog set to disallow comments, so it doesn't make any difference anyway. But, for some reason b2evo still let's the spammers submit the spams, even if they don't post. (You would think that a "no comments" setting would simply make it impossible to submit comments at all ...)
Not that I don't want comments. It's just that no one ever comments, just spammers. I'm sure if you have something to tell me, you will track me down and send an email. In which case, I will post it, if it is not, well, you know, spam.
