i hate that, but progress is made

I don't know why. Sometimes KDE4 corrupts and the keyboard and/or mouse clicks cease to do what they are supposed to. Shutdown doesn't work. Nothing works correctly, though there remains some pretense of functionality.
I think some bit on the keyboard input gets stuck or something. I don't know how to clear it. Well, other than a re-boot.
...
So, I was typing some notes here and kafooey. What are you going to do?
Back to the original point: I need the mozex firefox add-on to run my document system, because I need to launch local programs, such as OpenOffice. I used to do this via a set of custom MIME types. Then MIME-Edit was not updated for awhile and I switched to mozex. Mozex is better because it can pass through a set of variables. But rewriting everything just because Firefox moves on is hell. Mozex is seemingly abandoned at Moz-devel-land.
Then I found this one: http://nic-nac-project.de/~kaosmos/mozex107-en.html
Weird. It works. The current mozex is 1.9. The new link is a variant of mozex 1.07, but is updated to run with Firefox 3.5. So, I R Saved. For awhile.
Thank you for visiting and have a pleasant tomorrow.
