So far, my new Gateway netbook LT3103u is working great! Well, in ... get this ... Vista. If my Sony had this few problems with Vista, I probably never would have gotten around to converting to Linux.

I don't know why. Sometimes KDE4 corrupts and the keyboard and/or mouse clicks cease to do what they are supposed to. Shutdown doesn't work. Nothing works correctly, though there remains some pretense of functionality.
