BCM43xx

There are things that it is impossible to remember.
...
I've been dealing with the linux broadcom wireless drivers over a fairly long period of time, with different solutions. Oh, remember Ndiswrapper?
So, I was setting up a computer for one of my daughter's friends and for the life of me I could not remember what to do. Lots 'o research later, the hint was "/usr/bin/install_bcm43xx_firmware". Which in my case did not really work, as the command must not be lurking in /usr/bin. But, "install_bcm43xx_firmware" worked just fine (retrieves and does whatever with the necessary drivers.)
Yay.
(Maybe I will find my own note about this again the next time I need the info ...)
