My cursor is bouncing all over the place, I need the touchpad to auto shut off when typing, but my touchpad program can't find the correct driver (KDE).

Secondly, my auto hide KDE plasma panel is refusing to unhide, or is unhiding erratically. Inconvenient. Plus, all the hotkeys have deactivated and although compositing is working, none of the effects (such as window-changing are working.)

My lower panel is solid, my right panel is partly transparent and my left panel is completely transparent (so the icons just float in the margin of the desktop.

It gets tedious.

Another problem solved, though -- I used to have two temp readouts from the internals on my Kima applet for the old KDE 3.5 panel. Then on new installs I didn't -- and couldn't figure out what happened.

Forgot to install hddtemp, to get the drive temperature. Works now.
