Vista SP2 all updated. Finally.No, the automatic update system did not start working. Au contraire. I had to tediously search for each separate update by its kb no. to find the official MS download, then download it and open it in the windows standalon… more »

The Vista SP2 (or as the update is labeled, "windows 6") is installed. There were then 24 more updates, 14 of which refuse to install. Gateway is now more sluggish. This is a surprise, why? (And no, I will not be buying windows 7.) more »
