vista again

I recently set up three more Vista computers -- an HP, a Dell and a Toshiba, with roughly similar hardware and software packages.
None of them exhibited any strange behavior or problems.
Follow up:
Interesting.
Of course, they are not feature rich like my linux machines.
The Toshiba comes with Google Gadgets in the sidebar. But, I discovered that the google gadgets I like to use in Linux were mostly not available. (Maybe there is a way to download them -- I don't know. I looked for them in the same manner I find google gadgets in my linux install, but sorry! Not there.)
But, we do have a clock and the weather, so that's something.
Maybe some day windows boxes will catch up to linux ones.
