Well, I re-re-installed the new kernel, even though Yast specified the new kernel to still be the same one from 2/27/09 -- and this time, wouldn't you know it, it works. And, plasma's not crashing now. There may be some relationship to another change… more »

Every time I declare linux exceptionally cool and ready for prime time, some new and distressing disaster occurs.I'm still running on the "trace" kernel, as OpenSUSE has yet to notice the defective new default kernel and repair it. Or, if they have done… more »
